Pattern for preemiedoll

It is difficult to later imagine how small a preterm child was when it was born. Parents forget over time and the child may have questions and concerns when he / she gets bigger. Relatives who did not get a chance to see the child themselves can not imagine how small the baby was.

A child born prematurely are often lean and regular chubby dolls bears no resemblance to the small premature infants. Preemies are often also more stretched than full-term babies, they still had plenty of room in the womb at birth. With this pattern you can sew a realistic doll of that size as the child was when it was born.

The pattern is in English and has instructions on how to make a doll from gestational week 13 up to full-term 40 weeks.

The pattern is copied and printed out a percentage depending on the size of the desired doll. Now you can order the pattern of the finished size. See below what size you want for your preemiedoll.
